This presentation will discuss the debate about using an algorithm to identify academic dishonesty and present an argument for a mixed formative feedback/summative evaluation role, which is completely student-initiated and does not require significant knowledge of the Turnitin platform, nor requires a greatly increased percentage of effort by the instructor.
