Further Data on Psychotherapy and the Poor
psychotherapy coverage under national health insurance, benefits for poor vs affluent, commentary
Digital Object Identifier (DOI)
Presents data supporting the contention of D. W. Edwards et al (see record 1979-26947-001) that poor clients will use and receive the same services as nonpoor clients, at least in a community mental health center setting. Data do not uphold G. W. Albee's (1977) arguments against including psychotherapy in national health insurance.
