Identifying and treating depression, anxiety, and dementia
Abstract
HIV-infected individuals frequently experience mental health symptoms requiring special focus and attention. This chapter will clarify the relationships among HIV disease and mental health conditions and will describe pharmacological treatment approaches. The three mental health conditions that will be discussed are depression, anxiety, and control of behavior in dementia.
