Storck has worked at a number of libraries in Florida, including Tampa-Hillsborough Public Library System, Leon County Public Library, and the Pinellas Public Library Cooperative; and has served in a number of capacities as a librarian, including director and branch manager. She was the first director of the Pinellas Public Library Cooperative, and played a pivotal role in organizing the cooperative, the first one in Florida. Storck taught several courses at the USF School of Library and Information Science, and was very close to its first director, Alice G. Smith. She has served as President of the Florida Library Association, and continues as that organization's Archivist. After retiring from the PPLC in 2002, Storck was a substitute librarian at many local schools and is a consultant for public libraries nationwide.
