Abstract

To identify activities and actions that have occurred over the past year, the Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council's Agency on Bay Management annually develops a status report on the condition of the Tampa Bay estuary. This document represents the fifth annual "State of Tampa Bay" report pursuant to the adopted rules of the Council's Agency on Bay Management. The purpose of the "State of Tampa Bay" report is to: • serve as a reference for projects, programs and organizations that influence the bay and its watershed, • identify the condition of Tampa Bay over the past year, and • depict activities and issues that are addressed by the Council's Agency on Bay Management over the past year.
