The 9th Annual Undergraduate Research Symposium and Celebration will be held on Friday, April 15, 2011 on the second floor of the Marshall Student Center. Everyone is invited to stop by and see the exemplary work completed by undergraduates from all disciplines. Students who wish to present at the Symposium can find more information below:

Abstract Submissions

Thank you to all the students who submitted for this year's Symposium! We received over 170 abstracts, which is by far the most we have ever received. Student will be notified of their acceptance by Friday, March 25th by email, so be on the lookout for more information soon! A list of the accepted students will also be posted on this website for public observance. For more information, please contact Alyssa Cobb at accobb@honors.usf.edu.

Symposium Workshops

The following workshops are available for students presenting at the Symposium who wish to gain helpful tips and improve their presentation skills. Although these workshops are geared toward Symposium presenters, other undergraduate researchers are welcome to attend if they feel the information would be helpful.

Poster Printing

UR and Pro-Copy have teamed up this year to provide poster presenters with a discounted price for this year's Symposium. The discounted price for a 36" x 48" poster is $35 plus a $3 rip fee, plus any incurred charges as described in this flyer. Students must submit their poster as a PDF to avoid a $15 conversion fee. Please review the flyer for other stipulations and the procedure for printing at Pro-Copy.
