On Evaluating Integrals with Strongly Singular Integrands

Abstract
The solution of many mixed boundary value problems in engineering is found in terms of singular integral equations. These equations may require numerical evaluation of integrals with strongly singular integrands. Two simple algorithms based on an adaptive scheme are written to evaluate these integrals in the Hadamard sense. The results are compared with exact results available for specific integrands.
