Author Biography

Rhona Brown is Senior Lecturer and Head of Subject in Scottish Literature at the University of Glasgow. Her research focuses on eighteenth century Scottish literature and its relationship with the contemporary periodical press. She is the author of Robert Fergusson and the Scottish Periodical Press (2012) and co-editor of Before Blackwood's: Scottish Journalism in the Age of Enlightenment (2015). Rhona is also part of the editorial team for a new OUP edition of the Complete Works of Robert Burns, where she is co-editor of Burns's Correspondence.
