Author Biography

Ellen Malenas Ledoux is Associate Professor and Director of Graduate Study at Rutgers University, Camden. She specializes in Romantic and Gothic literature. Her recent book, Social Reform in Gothic Writing: Fantastic Forms of Change, 1764-1834(Palgrave Macmillan 2013), examines the relationship between Gothic texts and social reform in transatlantic writers of the Revolutionary period.
